We are looking for a Creative Developer, inspired by innovation and creative thinking

Signifly is an award-winning agency, behind some of the Danes’ favourite apps and digital experiences.

We are looking for a Creative Developer with experience in shipping with AI and strong front-end skills to join our Creative Tech team in Copenhagen. You will be an essential part of developing new digital concepts together with our clients and colleagues, both here in Vesterbro and across our offices in London, Montreal and Toronto.

Things that matter: TypeScript, Next.js, and React, an eye for detail, love good design and building products that matter to real people.

Agentic engineering – with craft at the core

We’re operating in a time of agentic engineering. AI agents are changing how software gets built, and we embrace that: we use agentic tools to ship faster and build AI-powered features into client products.

At the same time, we know that reaching the quality we aim for means sticking to the fundamentals of good software development. Agents amplify good engineering, they don’t replace it. We’re looking for someone with strong fundamentals in architecture, code quality and judgment, who can put these new tools to work without compromising on craft.

Innovate by doing

Signifly is one of the fastest growing innovation agencies in Denmark. Our team has won several awards for our innovative approach to digital products and user experiences – and we expect the same innovate thinking from you. We are an ambitious team that is constantly pushing the limits of our work and our own capabilities. We coin it ‘innovate by doing’.

We collaborate with a broad range of clients and are a diverse team of developers, designers, film makers and digital strategists, that believe creativity and entrepreneurship never gets old.

Key tasks

• Build creative digital products and services, with a heavy focus on developing smooth, best-in-class front-end, interactions and user experience.

• Turn design into performant, accessible and maintainable solutions in TypeScript and Next.js

• Use agentic tools in your day-to-day development and help build AI-powered features into our clients’ products

• Stay up to date with new trends and technologies and share your knowledge, so the team can deliver exciting and innovative solutions

• Support with tech knowledge and skills across Signifly’s different teams

What we expect of you

• Solid experience as a front-end developer at mid-level or senior level, ideally from an agency, start-up or consultancy

• Strong skills in TypeScript and Next.js/React

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development (tools like Claude Code or similar) and real curiosity about pushing this frontier

• A passion for design and interaction – functional, relevant and carefully crafted

• Good at understanding real-world client problems

• Take ownership: of your code, your projects and products

• You speak and write fluent Danish and are comfortable working in English

It’s a plus if you have experience with animation and interaction (e.g. GSAP or WebGL), or building AI-native features.

Please expect no less from us

The most important thing that we offer is an inspiring and ambitious work environment, with an emphasis on learning and developing, both personally and as a team. We have an informal organization with minimal hierarchy, where there is plenty of room for being ambitious within your own area of expertise, as well as taking part in shaping our team, culture, and product offering.

But, of course, we can also tempt you with:

• Yearly one-week team trip with both social and professional focus (paid)

• Fresh catered lunch of mostly organic produce and with vegetarian options

• Coffee, tea, soft drinks, snacks, etc. – and wine, beer and drinks on Fridays

• Beautiful office space with emphasis on noise reduction, centrally located in Vesterbro

• Paid equipment of high quality – you choose what you prefer

• In-office massage service

• Inspiration trips to events, meet-ups and conferences

• Company-paid pension and health insurance

• Competitive salary based on qualifications and performance

• Career progress based on merits rather than seniority

• Opportunity to work-exchange with our offices in Montreal, London and Toronto

And if you think something is missing, just let us know. We can probably work together to add it. After all, we are trying to create the best possible place to work!

Practical information

• Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Location: Signifly, Vesterbrogade 46, 1st floor, Copenhagen V

• Language: Danish

• Tech stack: TypeScript, Next.js, React, and Tailwind

Please submit your CV or online profile (LinkedIn or GitHub) – and feel free to include links to projects you’re proud of. Then we will be in touch!
